To dominate Galaxy Prison, you need more than just raw materials. You need to master the flow of Planetary Energy and Experience (EXP).

Here is everything you need to know about powering up your gear and your character.

Planetary Energy & Item Levels

Every piece of gear you own—whether it's your Pickaxe, Sword, Armor, or Satchel—has a specific Planetary Energy Capacity. As you use these items, they automatically absorb Energy.

Once you join, and select the Galaxy Prison server, your very first mission is to complete the basic tutorial.

• The Wormhole Upgrades: Once your item absorbs enough Energy, you must take it to the Wormhole (the End Portal located exactly at Spawn). Here, you can spend that Energy to enchant and upgrade your item.
• Powerful Modifiers: Upgrading an item at the Wormhole grants massive performance boosts, such as increased mining speed, higher damage output, better defensive stats, or upgraded loot collection efficiency.

Player Experience (EXP)

Having maxed-out gear isn't enough; your personal Experience Level directly determines your overall power and progression in the server.

To fully master this game mode, you must maintain a high personal EXP level.

• Why it matters: Higher-level players can handle and access significantly greater amounts of Energy. If you want to unlock your true potential and become one of the most powerful prisoners in the galaxy, you must prioritize your personal EXP just as much as your gear.

Extraction & The Tax System

Energy and EXP aren't just for upgrading; they are the most valuable currencies in the game. You can extract them to trade with others or store them safely, but the intergalactic bank takes a cut!

1. Energy Extraction from an Item

• Command: Type /extract <value> or /extract all

• The Tax: There is a fixed 20% tax on all extracted Energy only from Pickaxes

• Tax Reduction: Players with a VIP Rank benefit from reduced extraction taxes.

2. Experience Extraction

• Command: Type /xpextract <value> or /xpextract all

• The Tax: EXP features a regressive tax system. This means the tax rate is based on your current player level.

• Tax Reduction: The higher your personal level, the lower the tax percentage you will pay when extracting EXP!
